MISSION & VISION

Santa Cruz Valley UMC’s Mission: a growing congregation called to be a safe space for all people as we build community and follow Jesus together.

Vision Statements: Our vision is to redefine what it means to be church: not just a Sunday gathering, but a community based on daily commitment to relationship, love, and service. We work toward a world where all people experience dignity, equity, and God’s abundant grace.

Inclusion Statement: As an inclusive Christian community of faith, Santa Cruz Valley UMC believes that people of all genders, abilities, status, and beliefs are made in the image of God. We welcome everyone here, but we also celebrate everyone here, and we strive to be a safe space where all people can find belonging and participate fully in the life of the church including leadership, membership, baptism, marriage, and ordination.
