SCVUMC Justice Study Group continues as we watch the General Commission on Religion and Race for the UMC’s presentation, “What is Critical Race Theory and What Christians Should Know” Join us on zoom on Friday, September 10, 2021 at noon (link below). It is an ideological framework that names race as a social construct and asserts racialized inequities in society are fostered by historic and current systemic, institutional, and legal policies and practices.
