Pastor Sandy leads bible studies and topical studies throughout the year.  Check events on the home page for current study. Bible study is back in person.

Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group  This support group offers a resource for grieving parents and their loved ones following the tragic death of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or during the first months of life. We meet once a month on Thursday.  Contact Pastor Sandy at pastor@scvumc.org for more information.

 

Justice Book Study: 

Pastor Sandy leads an ongoing study of justice issues through reading and discussing a variety of books.  Topics include, becoming anti-racist, immigration, climate change, etc.  This group meets each Friday at noon on Zoom.

Nursery:  At SCVUMC we offer a staffed nursery during the Sunday morning worship service. This is available to children through 4 years of age.  

Sunday School:  Our Sunday School program takes place right after children's time in the worship service. The curriculum includes Bible stories, a video to support the Bible story, hands on crafts, a Bible verse and a snack. We also include drama activities with some of the stories. This is appropriate for children 5 years old through fifth grade.
