Our Worship Team Journey of FaithThe purpose of the Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist Church is to be a multi-generational church making genuinely committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER CAMPAIGN 

As our church, Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist Church, goes into the next phase of our church’s life we realize that we are up against some difficult challenges.  We believe that God can guide us through these challenges, and we recognize the importance of basing all of our decisions on prayer.  We have asked our congregation to contact their friends, families, and church connections, and ask them to make a one year commitment to pray for our church on a regular basis.  We are open to hearing what God wants us to be doing next.  If you are one of the people responding to this request, we ask you to share with us what you hear from God.  We would also like for you to e-mail our pastor, Rev. Mark Conrad (revupracing@yahoo.com), and give him your name and where you live.  We want to make a list to share with our church family of those who are praying for us.  Your commitment to walk with us through prayer is making a difference!
 
Some specific items that need prayer are: 

  • Help us to keep our focus on making new Christian disciples, and keeping our church family rooted in love.

  • Finding effective ways to follow-up with those who have visited our church.

  • Locating financing to build the first phase of our church building, and once we have that financing the ability to fully honor our obligations.

  • Strength and wisdom for our church leaders, and help in preparing leaders for the future.

  • Guidance on growing our mission ministries.
