Children's Director Journey of FaithThe purpose of the Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist Church is to be a multi-generational church making genuinely committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Missions Activities

When - Missions committee meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM.

Where - Freeman's home, Rancho Sahuarita. Call 498-2185 for directions.

Who - Everyone who attends SCV is part of the Mission group, as a portion of your giving supports projects. Anyone interested in becoming part of this outreach is invited to participate in meetings and/or projects.

Our mission statement: To allow God to work through us as we reach out to those in need, in partnership with God and with an attitude of servant hood as we share the Word and Love of Christ with all we meet.

Our purpose statement: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."  Galatians 6:2

  • Amado Children's Christmas
  • Green Valley Food Bank - besides our food donation each month that Sue Henning collects, we also donate $ each month to help provide fresh milk to every family that comes to the food bank. 
  • U of A Campus Ministries
  • Adopt-A-Roadway - check out the calendar or call Lynda Ashcraft at 207-0962 for more information.
  • El Divino Church, Nogales, Mexico - Pastoral Assistance 
  • Magdalena Methodist Church, Magdalena, Mexico

 

 

 

Green Valley Food Bank - on the 2nd Sunday of every month our church family collects for the Food Bank. Shopping bags can be picked up in the Narthex for this collection. Please return the bag on the 3rd Sunday for the volunteers to pick up and take to the Food Bank. Please ask a volunteer in the Narthex if you have questions.
