The purpose of the Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist Church is to be a multi-generational church making genuinely committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Missions Activities

Our mission statement: To allow God to work through us as we reach out to those in need, in partnership with God and with an attitude of servanthood as we share the Word and Love of Christ with all we meet.

Our purpose statement: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

Green Valley Food Bank - besides our food donation each month that Sue Henning collects, we also donate $ each month to help provide fresh milk to every family that comes to the food bank.
Just Coffee - If you are interested in purchasing free-trade coffee to support independent coffee growers in Chiapis, Mexico, NOW is the time. Beans and ground, regular and decaffeinated are available by the pound for $8.50 (reg) and $9.50 (decaf). I will place an order towards the end of November and it will arrive in early December, in plenty of time for Christmas. This is a great gift idea, a good price, and wonderful coffee! Green Valley Food Bank - on the 3rd Sunday of every month our church family collects for the Food Bank. Shopping bags can be picked up in the Narthex for this collection. Please return the bag on the 3rd Sunday for the volunteers to pick up and take to the Food Bank. Please ask a volunteer in the Narthex if you have questions.
