Mark Conrad
I'm Mark, the Senior Pastor of Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist
Church. I'm married and have one grown daughter. I grew up in
Michigan, and have pastored in Texas, Alaska, and Arizona. My
interests include: running; reading; and classic cars. |
Shauna Melvin
Hi! I'm Shauna and I am married to the
love of my life, Scott. I am also a Mom of 2 beautiful girls.
I moved to AZ in 1998 from Livermore, CA. I absolutely love
the desert and all of its beauty. I work as the Christian Ed.
Director at Green Valley Community Church and feel honored to be a
part of the Acts volunteer team. I love worship in music.
I also went on my first mission trip this year and LOVED IT!
One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11. I can't wait to
see what God has planned for us this year! Come see too!

My name is Scott Melvin. I was born
and raised in northern California. I moved to AZ almost 13
years ago. I've worked in the produce industry for the past 20
years. I'm married to Shauna and have two beautiful daughters.
I love living in Arizona because of the
gorgeous weather and nice people. Things I like to do are play
golf, bar-b-que, spend time in my yard and with my family.

Hi, I'm Judy Freeman. I'm married to John
and we have 2 grown daughters. I am proud to be the grandma to 7
fantastic grandchildren. I have a passion for youth. I feel God
has blessed me. I enjoy giving back. Some of my passions are
hiking, bike riding & knitting. I love to laugh & mime.

Brianna Melvin
Hi! I'm Brianna and I love laughter and
happiness. I'm currently a sophomore at the U of A, studying
retailing & consumer science and sociology. I love reading, coffee,
and making things pretty. Spending quality time with my friends &
family is a perfect afternoon, with some shopping and scrapbooking
in between. My favorite books of the Bible are Paul's letters.
Worshipping through music is a huge part of my life. Acts has been
such a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with teens and grow in my
walk with God. |
Larinn Hilgeman
I come from a non-religious family, but came
to Christ when I was 22. Both my husband and I are engineers (no
kids yet!). I enjoy hiking, swimming, playing games & cooking.

Cynthia Bowman
Hi my name is Cynthia. I'm currently a
junior at the U of A, studying Mathematics & Korean Language. I
have such a huge passion for Christ and everything that His hands
have created! My goal in life is to learn to love everyone just as
He loves us and I learn more everyday! God is so good and has
blessed me in so many ways. Passing that love on will be my
continuing journey. Being a part of Acts has changed my life and I
hope to inspire teen as much as they inspire me. I am looking
forward to the year God has planned for Acts. By the way, I love
coffee, music, worship and reading the Bible. Feel free to come
